Parish Mission Statement

That, in a few words, sums up our new parish mission statement. Over the past year, retired parish staff member John Flaherty has been working closely with Pastoral Council to develop a mission statement that represents, in a few sentences, the mission of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.

The full mission statement appears in the graphic above, along with a map depicting the geographic area served by our Parish.

In the days, weeks and months ahead you will be seeing the mission statement on signs, in printed materials, online, and in a variety of other places as reminders of what our parish strives to be about. 

We hope you believe as our Pastoral Council does, that this mission statement is a way for us to continue to build up the Body of Christ at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
